Andrew Niesen, principal and co-founder
Andrew has extensive experience working with Digital Asset Management systems and software development teams.
He was the co-founder and CEO of ShootQ, a business management tool for professional photographers, and the head of product for PhotoShelter and Pictage.
Andrew earned a dual-degree MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and WHU.
After earning his MBA, Andrew joined the team of PhotoShelter, where he worked on its Digital Asset Management solution, Libris. Now he provides DAM consulting services as the Principal of LaCour+Niesen.
He earned photojournalism and anthropology degrees from the University of Missouri.
Rachel LaCOUR Niesen, principal and co-founder
Rachel is a photographer, curator and word wizard who loves working with companies who want to solve real problems for real people.
As a seasoned marketing executive, she is passionate about helping companies craft controlled vocabularies and taxonomies that save them time and money.
Rachel earned a journalism degree from the University of Missouri School of Journalism. She brings creativity and a client-first mindset to every project.
